🚴♂️ Karimnagar Hosts Cycling Rally to Promote Health and Eco-Friendly Living
On the occasion of World Health Day, a cycling rally promoting fitness and environmental awareness was held at the District Police Headquarters in Karimnagar. The event saw the participation of senior Congress leader and VNR Foundation founder Dr. V. Narender Reddy.
Organised in coordination with honourable Police Commissioner Ghouse Alam, IPS, the rally brought together nearly 150 cyclists who enthusiastically rode through the city.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Narender Reddy highlighted the increasing focus on healthy lifestyles among the public. He encouraged people to include cycling in their daily routines, noting its benefits for both personal fitness and reducing pollution levels. He also pointed out that cycling is widely encouraged in developed nations and urged citizens to follow similar practices.
The rally commenced from the Police Headquarters and covered major areas such as the Bus Stand, Telangana Chowk, R&B Junction, and Court Junction, before concluding at Renny Hospital.
Several prominent individuals, including Dr. Bangari Swamy, Dr. Captain B. Madhusudan Reddy, and traffic department officials, were present at the event. Organisers stated that all participants would receive certificates in recognition of their involvement.
